Computer Science BSc. student at ETH Zürich, exploring future AI-driven computer interaction
Hi, I’m Fabian Rohlik, originally from Vienna, now studying Computer Science at ETH Zürich. I’ve always been drawn to the why behind technology, especially where it intersects with design and human behavior. From sketching product ideas to exploring how AI might change how we interact with systems, I love thinking about what’s next.
In high school, I started CEATE, a creative agency for web design, which let me experiment and work with real clients. These days, I’m focusing more on my studies but still build when inspiration strikes. I’m not a hardcore coder, but I care a lot about thoughtful, clean interfaces – design that feels invisible.
Outside of tech, I try to stay active – cycling, rowing, or just moving to clear my head. A solo bikepacking trip through the Balkans taught me a lot about people and presence. I’m also into photography, especially capturing honest, unstaged moments. While I used to be more introverted, I’ve grown to value deep conversations, even with strangers. In 2023, I interned at 1NCE in Riga, which sparked a deeper interest in the tech world.
I’m currently aiming for the 2026 Swift Student Challenge, exploring the future of the web and frontend development in an AI first era – learning as I go and staying curious. Dive into my blog posts and thoughts, or leave me a message!
